Why is this important?
Well for one, these are global numbers, meaning people are mobile everywhere. If people are mobile, they will be expecting a great mobile experience on their devices. So when you're looking at ways to improve your business...you should stop & start thinking about how your customers interact with your web & mortar store online. You should start by doing it yourself. Grab out your phone, open your website & check if it is easy to use on mobile. Do you have to pinch & zoom? If you do, it's time for a new mobile website & app.
2015 is going to be the year of mobile and your customers are not waiting around for you to keep up, it is you who must keep up with them.
